Will Spectre ever be a plug-in?

... I mean an actual AU, not the AU Net Send/Receive thing.

No. However, we are making our own plug-ins that are similar to AUNetSend, but will exist in other plug-in formats.

Hi, I'm just wondering if there's any updated news on this.
The AUNetSend thing is still pretty clunky for me...
