2882/Apogee Big Ben/terminated wordclock

Postby bungee » Tue, 27 Jul 2010 6:17 pm

I'm trying to have two 2882's properly synced by wordclock to an Apogee Big Ben. According to the Big Ben, the 2882's are not terminated (it doesn't show the green lights indicating that a device is properly terminated). I'm told that termination is been done automaticly on the Metric Halo's. I don't hear pops 'n clicks etc. though. I just want to make sure I get the best result possible.
What can be wrong?
All experiences/ideas welcome, thank you.

The 2882 uses a capacitively coupled WC input, so the Big Ben can't see the termination to ground (it uses the DC resistance to detect the termination, and the DC resistance is infinite on the 2882), but it is indeed terminated internally.
