Akai Professional has unveiled the APC20, the second control surface created by Akai for performance with Ableton Live software. Like the APC40, the APC20 promises to transform the user’s experience from one of constructing tracks with a keyboard and mouse to composing and performing with a seamless, fully integrated hardware/software musical system.
Akai Professional has unveiled the LPD8 laptop pad controller, LPK25 laptop performance keyboard controller and MPK61 full-size keyboard MIDI controller. All three will make their debut at Akai’s booth, number 400, at the Summer NAMM Show held at the Nashville Convention Center, July 17 – 19.
The APC40, Akai Professional’s dedicated Ableton Live super-controller, is shipping now. If you want to get your hands on one, Ableton recommends placing your order quickly, as they seem to be selling out just as quickly.
